Cancellation and Refund Policies

simple, straightforward guidelines so you know how we deal with reservation and administrative fees, cancellations, refunds, invoices and taxes

Reservation payments or advance deposits to cover administration costs and are non-refundable under any conrcumstance, besides the case described on item #8 of this page (cancellation by AlterContacts)

Each of our program has a total cost that needs to be paid in full not later than 30 calendar days before the start date, unless clearly specified in the dedicated event page. Failing to do so will void your reservation and the administration cost will not be returned.

If you cancel your participation for any reason earlier than 30 calendar days before the start of the program, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, minus the administration fees + taxes.

If you are forced to drop out during the duration of one of our programs due to health issues, family situations or any other unforeseen cinrcumstances, please inform us at the earliest time possible, and we  will do our best to refund the costs of any part of the program that has not yet been covered.

Cancellations and refunds in circumstances outside those described above, are subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Cancellation and Refund policy. For the avoidance of doubt, the cancellation period will expire 30 days before the date of the program start.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any additional fees as a result of this reimbursement, as the administrative costs are covered by the reservation deposit.

To receive a Certificate you must attend at least 80% of the required sessions, and produce a minimum list of written assignments or reports from field activities as detailed in the program syllabus.

Whilst every effort is made to avoid changes to our program AllterContacts reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any course. If for any reason we cancel a course, all course fees will be returned in full.

Our payment system (stripe) is setup to generate standard invoices. If you are paying with a business account and need an invoice with more detailed tax information, please make sure you add the information about your company or institution when filling up the payent form.

Our payment system autoomatically calculates the taxes according to the country of the bank where your payment comes from, and according to the commercial regulations of the Netherlands. In case your organization has special tax treatment, please send us the official documentation to assess if our government authorities allow processing the exeption
