PREVIEW

EU-funded project for Promoting Resilience and Employability in uniVersity students through Internship for futurE Work

This three-year project aims to promote innovative online learning and teaching practices to train university students and graduates on the skills needed to address the challenges arising from the digital age.

The project envisages the design of an innovative university course that through remote internships and other e-Learning activities, will enable students and graduates to develop the employability competencies required by the remote working scenario.

Students and graduates will be trained - through e-learning activities - with competencies to address the challenges of distance and effectively work remotely: e.g. how to use different technologies, and how to collaborate in virtual teams. Subsequently, they will have the opportunity to applicate these competencies during remote internships and verify to what extent they are able to work remotely, and effectively collaborate with distant colleagues.

This Project has received funding from the European Union under the Grant Agreement n. 2022-1-IT02-KA220-HED-000088742

Main Objectives

1) Training university students and graduates that have not yet entered the labour market to increase their employability skills.

2) Design of an innovative student-centered university course.

3) Enhancement of digital skills and non-digital skills essential for the future labour market.

Project PREVIEW runs in parallel to the AlterContacts Academy for Sustainable Development, aligned to several main European programs: Next Generation EU, The Digital Agenda for Europe, The strategic framework for European Cooperation in Education and Training 2020 (ET2020), the European Skills Agenda. It tackles three key societal issues: School-to-work transition; Youth development and employment; and Social inclusion. The AlterContacts Academy for Sustainable Development is a UN-registered SDG Partnership #SDGAction43794 and we are testing the service blueprint from the PREVIEW project with our volunteers from participating universities worldwide.

Promoting Resilience and Employability in university students through Internships for futurE Work

Survey: Ideal Remote Internship

The project is tasked to design a way students could do internships remotely. In order to do that, we needed to understand what would be the perfect remote internship for a student, a university representative, and a company that hosts it. Here below is the map of the countries surveyed.
